Data Product Services Ltd. is pleased to announce the official release of our latest project Tools'4'Tape. Tools'4'Tape has been on/off work in progress over the last 2 years as a baby brother product to Tapewise. Tools'4'Tape is available only from this website and we will start partner programs in the near future. T4T is a modular product, allowing you to purchase only the functionality that you require, the initial plugins include :- - Library plugin : Extend T4T ability from standalone drives to also supporting libraries and automation
- Health check : Perform physical read/write tests on your media to check the quality of them
- Security erase : Correctly erase tapes with multi-pass features
- Tools plugin (free) : Basic drive diagnostics, information and tools.
We are already working on additional plugins for T4T which will be available shortly. We are also very capable of writing specific custom plugins for any unusual requests you may have as well, please enquire.

We seem to be having some minor issues with our lost key facility :( we are currently working on the problem and hope to have this working correctly soon. This is just a short message from us here at DPS Ltd. offering our support and good will for the LHC project. In a few minutes time the LHC will be turned on and massive amounts on, interesting even though we are only small CERN does use our Tapewise software in the data centre, where over 2PB of data will be created in the next 6 months. |

Sorry for the downtime yesterday, we decided as a matter of precaution to have the OS re-installed on our server. This has taken a little longer than expected, but we are almost there now! |
