PBMessageUI™ ActiveX Edition is the evolution of the award-winning PBBalloon & PBTray ActiveX Edition Component, an ActiveX DLL that allows you to easily create and show professional themed balloons/popups/messages in ANY Windows version, show system tray icons and get their location on the screen.
PBMessageUI was designed specifically for developers who wish to use balloon/popups/messages in their applications. These type of messages were introduced by Microsoft as an API in Windows XP and improved in Vista, but thanks to PBMessageUI, it is not necessary to know API, and the messages can be used in Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/Server 2008.
PBMessageUI can even be used to add balloon/popups/messages tooltips to your applications, giving them a professional look when running under any Windows version.
Message content is HTML rendered using our own non-browser based engine, that guarantees that your messages will show the same way under any machine. Complete theme support is included to change the way a message look with just one line of code. Vista Balloon, XP Balloon, Vista Infotip and Office 2007 Infotip themes are included out of the box.
TrayIcon object it's included to display icons in the system tray. It includes the ability to detect the system tray Icon position on the screen, and if the icon is hidden under Windows XP/Server 2003/Vista or higher.
