A complicated version of sudoku game destined for real kings of puzzles. Rules are simple. Each row, column and subgrid inibox (4x4) comprises the numbers 1 through 16 or letters A through P or anything else.

Sudoku Puzzles Ace is a new program based on Sudoku - a Japanese numbers game initially introduced in 1986. The program is able to generate millions of different random Sudoku puzzles and has "Hint" and "Solve" features to ease the solution process.

Review by dg: This is where the benefit of software comes in. Since Sudoku Ace 1.0 isn't pen and paper, and there are an unlimited number of corrections that can be done.
Plus the program allows saving the puzzle mid-game or asking for a hint. The number of "known digits" initially displayed varies from game to game. And, because Sudoku Ace is based on a proprietary algorithm, the quantity of different layout is practically endless.
